As part of the efforts on behalf of the 2009 JFDC/UJC Community Campaign, we are holding a special program featuring guess speaker Sophie Ambrose, who grew up in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas with no contact with other Jews nor Judaism. She will share with us the story of her journey to reclaim her heritage. If you have not yet made your commitment to the 2009 Community Campaign, you will have the opportunity to make it. There is a minimum expected Campaign commitment of $ 250. October 17, 7PM at Casperkill. RSVP is required - call 471-9811 or email director@jewishdutchess.org

"Jewish in Dutchess" is a weekly service of the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County to help promote local Jewish activities and opportunities for local Jews to engage in Organized Jewish life.
 
The Jewish Federation of Dutchess County is your tool to invest Jewishly in our future as a community and as a People. Our goal is to promote and enhance Jewish life in Dutchess County and foster cooperation among all Jewish organizations, as well as providing moral and financial support for the State of Israel and Jewish communities around the world.
