BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS

As I write these lines, I'm getting ready to leave for Israel to attend the General Assembly of the Federation Movement in Jerusalem. Every time I go to Israel I feel anticipation and excitement and, of course, I'm told by my Israeli friends that “I'll be in Israel at an interesting time”. But of course, in Israel it is ALWAYS and interesting time. Let's check it out....
