BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS  

 

This has been a difficult week. As I was returning on November 14 from the General Assembly of the Jewish Federations of North America, we began to see the developments of Operation Pillar of Defense, designed to stop the firing of rockets and missiles from Gaza against Israeli civilians. As Israel targeted Hamas' military leader, Hamas responded with a massive attack on Israel's southern cities. There were many unsung heroes.
