BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS Elections are over. Barak Obama has been elected to serve a second term. What's next?.
Election results have a way to leave some people exultant while other very disappointed...after all, winers feel good and losers fell bad, right? Wrong! While an election does give a candidate the mandate to exercise the power of the elected office on behalf of his/her constituents, there is no such thing as “winners” or “losers” - at least in my opinion. Every election, in my view is an opportunity to adjust the direction we are taking as a country; to define or redefine the direction of our collective journey from a fixed point in time we call “Elections”.
