BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS  

Over the last week, a series of little pieces of news went mostly ignored by most media outlets, but when put together, they paint an interesting picture of what is in store for the Middle East.

Let us start with the Palestinians Arabs. The Palestinian Authority not only abetted but even promoted a new wave of violence against Israel. Most of the violent demonstrations took place in the Palestinian cities – where there are not Israelis!!!. At the same time, somebody in Hamastan (aka The Gaza Strip) launched one missile to Ashkelon, one and only one. Yet the Palestinians proclaim that the demonstrations taking place are intended to send a message to Obama in advance of his trip to Israel and Jordan at the end of this moth. The message? It is mostly unclear, but at least the Palestinian Wafq at least articulated some message: they warned Obama not to visit the Temple Mount.
