DUTCHESS OUTREACH
Jewish Family Services works together with Dutchess Outreach, one of the largest private providers of food assistance to the needy in Dutchess County. Our friends at Dutchess Outreach tell us that their food pantry is low on pasta and sauce due to a mid-winter drop in collections.
Here's a simple way to help out those who are struggling to keep food on the table.
It is easy to drop food donations off at Dutchess Outreach, which is located at the Family Partnership Building, 29 N. Hamilton St., Suite 202, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601. Please drop groceries off during office hours, and if possible, call them at 454-3792 in advance. Alternatively, feel free to bring your contributions to the JCCDC, 110 S. Grand Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603 and Jewish Family Services will bring the food to Dutchess Outreach on your behalf.
Please forward this email to anyone you know who might like to help.

BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS
In our "Politically Correct" society, we talk a lot about being tolerant toward those who are different from us either racially, culturally, religiously, or in any other way. We are also told that we are all brothers and sisters and that essentially all religious beliefs are the same. I refuse to accept it and I reject the notion that all beliefs are the same. Before you get off the rocket, I didn't mean to imply that we should not consider others our equals. Just the opposite. My problem is whith the very notion of "tolerance".
