BLOGGING JEWISH IN DUTCHESS
Many in the Jewish community claim that there is a problem in campuses across the United States, and that begs the question of how do you define “problem”, which in turn raises the question why should we care what the kids do in College? Let me first try to answer the second question. Those “kids” who are today in College will be the decision makers in this country in another 15-20 years, and study after study shows how the college years have a decisive role in shaping the way our decision makers (and other Joes and Janes like you and me) think, and how they make their decisions. What happens today in Campus, therefore, could be a window into the future of America. Now, how do you define “problem”?
