Imagine you own a store, and one of your neighbors gives you every month in consignment merchandise to sell. It so happens that same neighbor employs your  wife in his bussiness. You sell your neighbor's merchandise but somehow neglect to pay him. After a couple of years of accumulated debt, your neighbor then decides to dock your wife's salary and apply it toward the repayment of your debt.

You take him to court to get back your wife's salary because it is "your money", but at the same time make no move to repay your debt. What are the chances you can win the case?
