At a time when antisemitism and antizionism demand courage from all of us, the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County wants to recognize those who refuse to remain silent.

The 2026 Maccabee Awards will honor individuals making an exemplary and bold effort to fight antisemitism and antizionism in Dutchess County—whether by speaking out, educating others, advocating for the Jewish community or taking action when it matters.

Think about the people in your congregation, organization, workplace or wider community who have stepped forward. Who has shown courage? Who has taken a stand? Who deserves to be recognized?

Recipients will be honored at the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County Annual Meeting on Monday, November 30 at 6:30 PM at the Boardman Road Branch Library in Poughkeepsie.
