Poet and Rabbi Pamela Wax will guide participants in an interactive conversation about Jewish poetry from the Bible until now, with an emphasis on contemporary poems. A packet of poems will be shared and discussed, entertaining such questions as: What makes a poem a poem? What makes a poem Jewish? Why poetry at all?
Rabbi Pamela Wax is the author of two books of poetry. Her essays on Judaism, spirituailty, and women's issues, as well as her poems, have been published broadly.
