Pittsburgh, Poway, Jersey City, Monsey and now Colleyville...unfortunately one of the most frequent types of threat that the Jewish community has faced in the United States since 2018 has been that of the active intruder, or what is known as an "Active Threat". As Rabbi Cytron-Walker noted, "Over the years, my congregation and I have participated in multiple security courses from the Colleyville Police Department, the FBI, the Anti-Defamation League, and Secure Community Network. We are alive today because of that education."
Please join us on Wednesday, February 2 at 4:30 for an Active Threat training webinar led by Bill Hayes, CSI's Westchester/Bronx Regional Security Manager, a CRASE (The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) certified trainer and the former Bedford, NY Police Chief.
The Community Security Initiative will offer this same training to your institution, either in-person and/or via webinar. While we are currently in the midst of scheduling these types of onsite training for your staff and leadership, we wanted to present the same training in a webinar style format as soon as possible. Learn how to sign up for either training during the webinar.
