Why does wine taste better in Paris? Can standing a little taller boost your confidence? Could changing your surroundings improve your mood?

Join journalist, author and former Parade magazine editor-in-chief Janice Kaplan for an engaging conversation about her book, What Your Body Knows About Happiness: How to Use Your Body to Change Your Mind.

Blending scientific research with personal stories and humor, Kaplan explores the surprising ways our bodies help shape how we think, feel and experience the world. Discover how movement, posture, the senses and our surroundings can influence mood, creativity and happiness—and learn practical strategies for bringing more pleasure and optimism into everyday life.

Presented by the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County and Jewish Book Council in collaboration with Rhinebeck Reformed Church.

Free and open to the public. Advance registration is requested. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
